This Warranty shall be valid only after the
Registration Certificate is totally completed by the original purchaser and
mailed to Silver-top within thirty (30) days after completion of original
installation. This Warranty is for material only and does not include any
installation labor or other related costs. This Warranty is not assignable or
otherwise transferable. Silver-top Manufacturing Co. Inc. warrants
to the original Purchaser of the product, subject to the exclusions stated
herein, that the product be free from manufacturing defects in materials for
a period of five years from the original date of purchase at the address
registered on this Warranty. Exclusions: This Awning is designed to be
folded down during winter snow and severe weather conditions. Accidental or
intentional damage, acts of God, snow and ice, adverse effects by air
pollution and normal weathering on surfaces, failure to follow installation
instructions, failures or damages resulting from faulty or improper
installation, such as inadequate supporting structures and insufficient drop,
resulting leaks, improper care and maintenance, use of components other then
those provided by Silver-top intended for use with this product, or causes
beyond the control of the manufacturer, including failure to uninstall or
fold down and secure sufficiently in the winter and during severe weather
conditions. If you can demonstrate that your RV Two-Way* Awning is not free
from manufacturing defects, write to Silver-top Customer Service Department,
11120 Pulaski Highway, PO Box 225, White Marsh, MD 21162-0225 describing the
claim and circumstances giving rise to the claim, including pictures of claimed
defect, the Warranty Certificate number, as well as any other pertinent data.
Silver-top will reply within a reasonable time of receipt of your letter,
advising you of any additional evidence, if any, it requires to support your
claim. To facilitate our response time your home and or work phone numbers
are also helpful. If Silver-top determines that the material is defective in
accordance with the terms of this Warranty, Silver-top will (at its option)
ship Freight Collect all material or parts required to repair or replace the
defective part or parts. Slight color variations should be expected due to
weathering, different paint-lots, etc. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF
ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE REPLACEMENT OF
DAMAGED MATERIAL AS PROVIDED FOR ABOVE IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY. NO DEALER OR
ANY EMPLOYEE OR REPRESENTATIVE OF SILVER-TOP MANUFACTURING HAS THE AUTHORITY
TO ALTER OR CHANGE THIS WARRANTY, OR TO MAKE ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED WHICH IS BINDING UPON SILVER-TOP MANUFACTURING CO. INC. (This Warranty
covers all RV Two-Way Awnings manufactured on or after January 1, 2003) |
